International Research Seminar

From July 29 through August 3 2012 at the Center for Urban History there was an international scholarly seminar for history teachers from Sweden on the problem of the history of Ukrainian Jewry and the history of the Holocaust in Ukraine. The seminar was primarily focused on the history of Jewish communities of Eastern Galicia. After the Ukrainian portion of the seminar, participants have traveled to Lublin, where they continued their work at the Memorial Museums of Majdanek and Belzec.
