21st international Lviv Book Forum, which brings together various formats and environments in order to turn the public’s attention to the most pressing problems in modern Ukrainian book publishing and to develop and maintain a culture of discussion and dialogue in the society, was held in Lviv.
This year’s focal theme was "A Century of Change: A Century of Struggle (1914-2014)"
For the first time the Book Forum included thematic spaces – historical, women’s, children’s, natural history – where themed events, meetings with writers, and the sale of thematic books took place.
The Center for Urban History was pleased to cooperate with the Book Forum and to provide a space for the discussion of the Ukrainian society’s current issues.
