Circle of Young Sociologists

Every Tuesday from 10.00 am to 11.30 amthe Circle of Young Sociologists from the Ivan Franko National University of Lviv holds meetings in the Center for Urban History’s library. Students will meet with professional sociologists, organize workshops on writing grants, hold discussions about theoretical and methodological academic texts, and watch movies.

The circle originated in 2007 as a place of dialogue for young people who are interested in sociology and who want to improve their professional knowledge and skills. Since its inception, it has united many undergraduate and graduate students and has focused on the topics of data analysis, the role of public sociology, and new readings of classical texts.
