Archive of Interviews
10.12.2015
The in-depths interviews collected within the U Stories project are now available to researchers in the Center for Urban History’s library.
Now the Center’s library boasts an access point to the recordings and transcripts of some of the interviews collected within the U Stories project. There’s open access to four collections: "Movies and Lviv: Communities, Viewing, Creation", "Artistic City and City Art: Lviv Theaters after 1945", "Search for Home: Experience of Postwar Pidzamche, 1944-1960", and discussions with history teachers from 13 regions of Ukraine.
"U Stories" is an archive of in-depth interviews collected through various research projects implemented at the Center for Urban History. Its purpose is to maintain and make available to researchers and all interested individuals the memoirs and reflections of Lviv’s inhabitants, as well as to expand the use of oral history sources in the study of the urban history of Lviv and other cities in the region.
The Center for Urban History’s library is open from Monday to Friday, 10 am – 5 pm.
