Tetiana Portnova is a junior researcher at the History of the Prydniprovskoho Region research lab, which is associated with the Oles Honchar Dnipropetrovsk National University. In 2008, she defended her dissertation, which was devoted to the image of peasantry in Ukrainian social thought in the nineteenth and beginning of the twentieth centuries. Her academic interests are intellectual history and historical urbanism.
