9.12.2018

The exhibition contrasts the linear story of Zuzanna Ginczanka's life with the works of artists who were inspired by the poetess at different times. Ginczanka's creative work and her symbolic biography are the phenomena that still reverberate about the relevant dilemma of identity, emancipation, and political violence, as well as about the tragedy of history. The exhibition curators will tell about the concept of the display and present the links of Ginczanka's heritage with the vision of present-day art creators, both male and female, who are interested in combining visualization and literature, and also in the confrontation with meanders and lessons of history trying to interpret them anew.

The curatorial tour will be held in Polish by
