On Gender Equality in Ukraine

For the second time in its history, a demonstration calling for equal rights between women and men took place in Lviv. The event was organized by the Polish-Ukrainian group, "Gender Lviv". The manifestation was accompanied by various interesting events, including lectures, workshops and concerts.
Following the event, at 3 pm, a lecture and discussion about the social-political movement of women in twentieth-century Ukraine took place. Feminists and advocates for women’s rights from Poland participated in this international event to discuss possible cooperation in the struggle against stereotypes and discrimination.
