Center hosted a meeting with representatives of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences.
Dr. Victoria Sereda and Dr. Csilla Fedinec presented their new publication "UKRAJNA SZÍNEVÁLTOZÁSA 1991–2008. Politikai, gazdasági, kulturális és nemzetiségi attitűdök" / Szerkesztette: Fedinec Csilla és Szereda Viktória. - Baratislava: Kalligram, 2009. - 424 p.
Moreover, the Hungarian guests spoke about further activities of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences. In particular, Dr. Mariann Tarnóczy, Director of the Department of Hungarian Studies Abroad, described the official policies of the Academy regarding the development of Hungarian Studies in other countries. Dr. Attila Papp, a sociologist at the Institute for Research about Ethnic and National Minorities, presented the journal "REGIO. A review of Studies on Minorities, Politics and Society." Dr. Csilla Fedinec gave an overview of current research projects at the same Institute.
