HistoryPLAY

The results of the educational project "HistoryPLAY" were presented.

Guestes of the event viewed the animated film "Tales of My City" and a multimedia research project "Touching History: Seeing, Hearing, and Feeling the Past."

"HistoryPLAY" was an experimental project for children and adolescents during the long winter break, which lasted from December 8 to 26, 2014.

"Tales of My City" is an animated film created by the joint efforts of children and a team of instructors, where the history of the city was turned into new fairy stories and visuals. In close cooperation we learned how to perceive and feel the city's history through the synthesis of speech, image, movement, and sound.

"Touching History: Seeing, Hearing, and Feeling the Past" is a multimedia presentation of the work of young researchers (children aged 10-15 years). It is a view of the history of the city through individual/personal experiences, using family photos, stories, and memoirs.
