Forum of Young Scholars

The organizers of the event were the Department "Secretariat of the Council" of the Lviv City Council, the Department of Economic Policies of the Lviv City Council, the Faculty of Psychology of the Department of Lviv State University of Internal Affairs, the Faculty of Political Sciences and Philosophy of the Lviv Regional Institute of State Government of the National Academy of State Government under the President of Ukraine, the Civil Organization "Lviv Analytical House", the Lviv City Youth Civil Organization "Generation-Plus" and the Civil Organization "Skhodzhennia".

In the framework of the project, a round table discussion was conducted to cover the following topics:

• The condition and existential dimensions of social risks as a phenomenon:
  unemployment, migration and homelessness.
• The potential and prospects of the development of the Lviv region’s economy.
• Democratic management and civil self-government in Ukraine on the eve of Euro-2012.
