Amy Pettifier focused around colour as an application for personal memory, looking then at how this affects our personal experience of art.

Amy Pettifer
studied English Literature at Goldsmith’s College London and has since worked with Visual Arts institutions across the UK including The Fishmarket Gallery, Northampton and the British Council, London. She has worked with leading and emerging UK artists including Hugh Mendes; John Cake and Darren Neave; Tony Conrad; Martin Boyce; John Cale; Susan MacWilliam and Steve McQueen. Recent projects include UK at the Venice Biennale (2009) Fall Out (Whitechapel Gallery, 2010) and Villa Frankenstein at the 12th International Architecture Biennale with muf Architecture/Art Llp. Amy has contributed writing to several independent journals and often makes collaborative work with the artist Sarah Gillett. Exhibitions include Cautionary Tales at Arena One, Santa Monica and Emblems Left at Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art & Design, Dundee.She is currently studying for an MA in Contemporary Art Theory at Goldsmith’s College, London.
