"Ukraina Moderna" Presentation

Center hosted a presentation of the new issue of "Ukraina Moderna," dedicated to the history of Marxism in Eastern Europe and approaching the topic from multiple angles, including philosophy, history, and literature studies as well as national variants of Marxism, Marxism and Post-Structuralism, contemporary nationalism studies, socialist planning, Polish Sovietology, and Marxist interpretations of Ukrainian history.
Andriy Portnov (editor-in-chief of "Ukraina Moderna"), Volodymyr Masliychuk, Iaroslav Isaievych, Leonid Zashkilniak, Vasyl Raserych, and Tarik Cyril Amar will take part in the presentation, which will be open to the public.
"Ukraina Moderna" is an interdisciplinary and international academic journal, published since 1996, supported now also by the Heinrich Böll Foundation.
