Lviv – The "European Meeting Hall"

A round table discussion on the creation of the "European Meeting Hall" in Lviv took place in the Center for Urban Studies. The round table discussion was the central event of the international conference "The Role of Non-Governmental Organizations in Completing Social Tasks: Exchange of Experience Between NGO’s from Poland and Ukraine". The conference was held in Lviv on November 13-14 in the framework of the collaboration between the city-partners Lviv and Wroclaw.
The main aim of the conference was to exchange experiences and promote cooperation between NGO’s of Lviv and Wroclaw to further realize joint Ukrainian-Polish projects.
Representatives of the NGO’s of Wroclaw, employees and a Deputy of the Wroclaw City Council, as well as Deputies of the Sejm of the Republic of Poland participated in the Polish contingent.
During the round table session, issues on the creation of the "European Meeting Hall" in Lviv were discussed. The idea of the project is to found a separate institution that will encourage collaboration and the exchange of experience between the public organizations of Ukraine and the European Union countries.
