This month, the library of the Center resumed its regular operations. We removed restrictions for pre-ordering of books due to restructuring of the book depository and inventory stock count. From now on, over 8500 books in our online catalogue are available for ordering.

The book depository did not expand the space, but we largely optimized its use. In the end of last year, we installed a new system of shelves in a book depository so that it could place almost twice as many books. We are going to store most of our collections here.

However, some of the most popular categories – such as History of Lviv, History of Galicia, and Urban History – will stay in the reading room. In order to use these books, you do not need to pre-order. You just need to locate the required book on the shelf.

Please, note that the library reading room is open from Monday through Thursday, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., and from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Friday. You can pre-order on the website, with the help of the online catalogue. The ordered books or periodicals are stored on the pre-ordered books shelf in the library reading room no longer than one week after the moment of completing an order.
