The Voices of Euromaidan
15.02.2014
History is being made here and now. Each person is its co-author. The importance of the moment, the dynamics of development and change, hope for the future – this is what we aim to document so that it may be further reflected upon in the academic and public spheres.
The Center for Urban History continues the project "Voices of Resistance and Hope", in which we collect interviews and document the events taking place in Ukraine.
The "first wave" of the study was implemented in December 2013. In total we interviewed 80 people who were involved in the protests. We invite you to see excerpts of the interviews with EuroMaidan participants and activists in Ukraine (Kyiv, Lviv, Kharkiv) and Poland (Warsaw, Lublin) on the Center’s Facebook page in the album "The Voices of Euromaidan". The album is continually updated.
In connection with the further exacerbation of the sociopolitical situation in Ukraine, we have begun the "second wave" of the survey and collection of materials.
The leaders of the "Voices of Resistance and Hope" are Natalia Otrischenko and Anna Susak.
