Whose Data Is It Anyway?

Join us for the conversation "Whose data is it anyway?", focused on the ethics of digital and public history. This is one of the conversations between the partners in the projects supported by the GCRF (Global Challenges Research Fund): Ukraine, Liberia, and Great Britain.
From the Ukrainian side, the speakers will be the participants of "(Un)archiving (post)industry":
- Iryna Sklokina and Oleksandr Makhanets (Center for Urban History), Collecting, digitizing, and sharing the archives of the industrial era
- Anna Bahachenko (Mariupol Local History Museum), Whose data is it? Sharing private and institutional collections
- Myroslava Liakhovych (Center for Urban History), Oral histories of industrial lives in the postindustrial city
The event will be supplemented by simultaneous translation to/from English/Ukrainian.
